I am a single mom, a proud black seamstress, designer and serial entrepreneur who specializes in slow fashion. I started teaching myself to sew streetwear and eventually fell in love with making beautifully handcrafted gowns, dresses and suits which are handmade, by me, from scratch. I am on my eighth year of my self taught sewing journey and still have much to learn. Loving what I do and loving how I do it has brought true happiness. In 2022 I found the job of my dreams sewing high fashion, couture pieces for fashion shows and clients for a well known designer. I was loving the night life and going to a new fashion show every week. It was not long lived as just 6 months into my dream job I was let go. Go figure. I vowed to myself, this was not going to happen to me again. So I decided to stand on business and be serious with my craft. I plan to give opportunities to people who are just like me. Creatives who are talented, hungry for success and thrive for stability. So for now, I create gorgeous gowns and top notch suits for the sophisticated and classy men and women who love my work. I set the bar high to unapologetically show my skills by using my attention to detail. I express myself through fashion, I spread the knowledge and importance of sewing and design, I invest in our future by teaching our youth and I will always make it known that you should NOT settle on your dreams and goals. For knowledge is power and one thing I know is that my art will change the world!
